Jennifer is current Miss World Hong Kong China 2007. She was selected among the 16 semi-finalists of Miss World 2007 in a Miss World event held in Sanya, China on December 1, 2007. She was also nominated for Miss World's Beauty with a Purpose award along with Valeska Gomez - Miss World Ecuador 2007.
Ka Yi was born in Hong Kong and has spent many years in Vancouver, Canada. She has a bachelor degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of British Colombia, with a knowledge in food remedies, nutritional assessment, disease, weight management, human anatomy, health ethics and trained in Hazard analysis Critical Control Point. It is her ambition to become a successful promoter of healthy living and food security, and raise global awareness. Hobbies and sporting interests are: snowboarding, travelling, hiking, swimming, volleyball, playing the piano, and trying out different restaurants. When she wants to relax she listens to classical music or Christmas songs, she also enjoys R’n’B, Hip-hop and something she can dance to.
